Terms of Service – JJCash

Welcome to JJCash, a mobile lending application that provides convenient digital loan services for users in Côte d’Ivoire and Tanzania. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the JJCash app (“App”) and related financial services. By using JJCash, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the App immediately.

1. Definitions

  • JJCash: The mobile lending platform that provides short-term consumer loans and related digital financial services.
  • User: Any individual who downloads, registers, or uses the App or its services.
  • We / Us / Our: Refers to the JJCash service provider.

2. Scope of Services

Through JJCash, Users can:

  • Create and manage digital accounts with verified identities;
  • Apply for and receive loans after credit evaluation;
  • Track repayment schedules and transaction histories;
  • Receive reminders, notifications, and customer support;
  • Submit feedback or complaints regarding the App's operation.

3. Eligibility

To use JJCash, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract;
  • Be a resident of Côte d'Ivoire or Tanzania;
  • Provide accurate, verifiable, and up-to-date identity and financial information;
  • Have sufficient repayment capacity to meet loan obligations.

4. User Responsibilities

By using JJCash, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful and complete information during registration and loan application;
  • Use the App only for lawful purposes;
  • Repay your loans on or before the due date;
  • Not engage in any fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior.

Violation of these responsibilities may result in account suspension, termination, or legal action.

5. Accuracy of Information

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the information you provide.

If your information is found to be false, misleading, or outdated, JJCash reserves the right to reject applications, deactivate accounts, or take necessary legal action.

6. Loan Repayment

Borrowers must repay loans according to the agreed terms. Failure to repay may:

  • Incur additional interest or late payment fees;
  • Negatively affect your credit history;
  • Lead to collection actions as permitted by law.

Timely repayment strengthens your credit profile and improves future borrowing opportunities.

7. Prohibited Activities

You must not use JJCash for:

  • Fraudulent or misleading activities;
  • Money laundering or financing of illegal operations;
  • Sharing, selling, or misusing another person's information;
  • Any purpose outside JJCash's intended lending services.

Suspicious or illegal use may result in immediate account suspension and reporting to regulatory authorities.

8. Account Security

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use or suspicious activity.

JJCash shall not be liable for losses caused by user negligence or disclosure of credentials.

9. Loan Terms

  • Loan Amounts: Determined by your credit score and eligibility;
  • Duration: Clearly stated in the approved loan offer;
  • Interest & Fees: Fully disclosed before you accept the loan;
  • Repayment Options: May include mobile money, bank transfer, or authorized payment partners.

10. Data Privacy

JJCash collects and processes personal data only as necessary for service delivery, identity verification, credit assessment, and compliance.

Your data is protected through encrypted HTTPS transmission and secure storage at https://api.getjjcash.com.

We comply with the data protection laws applicable in Côte d'Ivoire and Tanzania.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, software, and trademarks within the JJCash App belong exclusively to the service provider.

Users may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App without written authorization.

12. Limitation of Liability

JJCash strives to ensure continuous and secure service, but we are not responsible for:

  • Service interruptions due to maintenance, system errors, or network failure;
  • Events beyond our control, including force majeure;
  • Damages resulting from user negligence or breach of these Terms.

You acknowledge that you use the App at your own risk.

13. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice if:

  • You violate these Terms;
  • Fraudulent or unlawful behavior is detected;
  • You fail to fulfill repayment or compliance obligations.

Upon termination, outstanding obligations remain enforceable as permitted by law.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the country where you reside (either Côte d'Ivoire or Tanzania).

Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall first be resolved through friendly negotiation.

If unresolved, it may be submitted to the competent courts or authorities of your country of residence.

If any provision of these Terms conflicts with mandatory local consumer protection laws, the local law will prevail.

15. Amendments

JJCash may update or modify these Terms from time to time.

Revised versions will be communicated via the App or other official channels.

Continued use of JJCash after such updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
